Game Background

In PUBPET, players take on the role of a retired Imperial Knight.

After retiring, you buy the Drunken Dog Tavern and start working as a bartender.

Once the tavern opens for business, your childhood friend Anto arrives.

She even tells you, “I’ve been looking for you for so long~~~”

Hurry up and give little Anto a big hug.

It turns out Anto has always wanted to be with you.

To catch your attention, she even flirts and fools around with other customers, just hoping you’ll look her way.

Fortunately, those destined to be together will find a way.

After grinding for money, grinding for items, working hard to win at Blackjack, and watching Anto intimately interact with other customers, you finally get happily married to her in the end.

As for what happens along the way, just think of it as spreading joy and love~~

However, besides your true match, Anto, there are two other heroines in the tavern.

One is Alice, a clumsy yet perfect waitress who just happens to drop in.

The other is Hedy, a dominatrix, tsundere, and sultry married woman.

As you win more and more matches, Alice and Hedy will offer even more “special services” in the tavern.

This makes the tavern’s business boom, keeping the customers pouring in.

How to Play

The gameplay of PUBPET can be divided into two main parts: managing the tavern and playing Blackjack.

A typical day consists of running the tavern, heading to the bar to choose whether to play a game with a heroine, and buying items from the Black Market Dealer.

There is no level system or experience point grinding for the tavern in this game.

The only goal of running the tavern is to make money, money, and more money!!!

Only when you have money can you buy items.

Only when you have items can you win at Blackjack.

Only when you win at Blackjack can you defeat Anto.

Only when you defeat Anto can you unlock the H-scenes.

So at the end of the day, even in a game, you still have to grind for cash.

Damn, life is hard!!!

Managing the Tavern

When running the tavern, you can choose whether or not to open for business each day.

Once you’ve made enough money, you can select “Close” to skip this segment.

But before you’ve made money (or after you’ve gambled it all away…), you have to obediently open the doors every day.

Customers will order specific cocktails, and the recipes you need to click will appear on the right side of the screen.

It’s very simple: one command, one action. Just follow the steps and you’re good to go~~

Players can click with the mouse or use the keyboard to press the corresponding ingredients.

After playing a while, muscle memory takes over. I highly recommend using the keyboard because it’s much faster.

The tavern has no level system, and the initial drink list you can buy is the complete list.

Play for a few days, and you can buy out the entire menu, allowing you to rake in the cash daily!

Tavern management in PUBPET is strictly profit-oriented.

Earning money through management has no bearing on plot progression, so it can feel a bit like a chore.

I suggest working hard early on and holding back. Spend half an hour making money, buying recipes, and making even more money.

Don’t be foolish enough to play cards with the girls empty-handed at the start.

You’ll only end up burning a hole in your wallet.

Blackjack Gameplay

The three heroines each have different ways of cheating, pulling out all kinds of tricks during card games.

The system is biased toward the heroines too; even if you draw a 19, the girls will somehow win with a 20 about 80% of the time.

Moreover, the heroines rarely bust when drawing cards; they mostly have insane luck, getting whatever card they need.

In comparison, the poor protagonist Knight usually busts while drawing.

You really can’t get by without items!!!!

However, you can only buy four items at a time from the Black Market Dealer.

Even if you’re loaded, you can’t buy a massive stack all at once.

The only solution is to grind. There is no other way.

Once you have enough money, select “Close” to skip the tavern management phase.

Just take the daily allowance of 200 gold coins.

Next, make sure to skip playing cards with the girls (you won’t win without enough items).

Head straight to the Black Market Dealer and buy up all four items.

Then, start another day of grinding for items.

Repeat this cycle for a few days to hoard enough items.

Once you’ve stocked up on items, you can play a round of Blackjack with one heroine at a time.

Winning a match means the heroine loses her entire betting pool for that round!!!

So you need to play multiple hands of Blackjack to make the girl lose her bet and clear the round.

Winning a single round usually consumes about 3 to 5 items.

Items get used up pretty quickly.

Furthermore, on the card table, every time you win a hand against a girl, she will strip off a piece of clothing.

In the early stages, you can win quite fast. Sometimes the round will end before she is completely stripped.

After winning a match, you unlock an H-scene.

Each heroine has 10 scenes to unlock.

However, these scenes aren’t necessarily between the player and the heroine.

Sometimes she gets felt up by the tavern customers, giving off a distinct NTR vibe.

The perks for the customers in this tavern are way too good.

Instead of being the boss, it honestly seems better to be a customer.

Item Guide

Items can be classified into three main categories: X-ray, Point Control, and Miscellaneous.

When taking on different heroines, you need to use different items based on their traits.

• X-ray: X-ray Potion, Evil Eye Stone, Divination Crystal

• Point Control: Lucky Coin, Misfortune Coin, Green Emotion, Purple Emotion, Black Chess Piece, White Chess Piece, Empty Bottle

• Miscellaneous: Evil Eye Potion, Royal Crest, Dagger, Treasure Map Fragment, Balance Badge

The item descriptions are displayed on the game screen, so you don’t have to worry about forgetting what they do.

The X-ray items are straightforward—they let you see the cards in the deck. Depending on the item, you can see the first card, or the first and second cards.

The Point Control items let you add or subtract points. For example, if drawing the next card will put you at 22, you can use a Misfortune Coin to give yourself a -1.

Alternatively, the Empty Bottle can double the heroine’s points, forcing her hand to bust.

The remaining items have more versatile functions.

The Royal Crest doubles your rewards and should be saved for guaranteed wins.

The Evil Eye Potion and Dagger are used to shuffle the deck. If the cards on top don’t suit your needs, you can shuffle them away.

The Balance Badge forces a draw.

As for what to do when you run out of items, you just have to be a resilient player and get grinding!

Character Introduction

Anto

Your childhood friend Anto is a boisterous thief girl.

Anto is a bit impatient.

Probably due to her hasty nature, she has a fiery temper and hates the heat.

As a result, she dresses quite lightly.

Her outfit consists of short booty shorts and a top made of minimal fabric.

Tie a scarf around her neck, and the thief look is complete.

Why does it feel like more fabric went into that scarf than her top???

Anto’s trait allows her to steal your point items and reverse their effects.

Therefore, it’s recommended to stick to X-ray items during her matches.

Anto is one of the easier heroines to conquer.

As long as you have plenty of X-ray items, she’s easy to beat.

Alice

Alice came to the tavern on her own accord.

She’s like a waitress who fell right out of the sky.

Alice often worries that she isn’t being helpful to the tavern.

However, many customers flock to the tavern just for her chest.

Business keeps getting better and better.

Alice also shares her body with the customers as a sort of hospitality perk.

In the beginning, it’s just a bit of touching, but as time goes on, she provides more services.

Alice’s trait allows her to regenerate health, so you need to settle matches quickly.

When you know you have a guaranteed win, use the Royal Crest immediately.

Hedy

Hedy is a married woman, but her husband is never around, meaning you can touch her freely.

This gets the tavern regulars incredibly excited.

The tavern owner is supposed to be a retired Imperial Knight.

He should have a pension.

For some reason, he’s obsessed with bringing in customers.

To do this, he plays Blackjack with Hedy. If he wins, he can ask Hedy to work as a waitress.

X-ray items are useless against Hedy, and she will even use items herself to save her hand.

If you want to beat Hedy, you need to grind a mountain of point-modifying items and couple them with the Royal Crest for a swift victory.

Then you can have Hedy work as a waitress and provide special services.

Game Plot

The three heroines in PUBPET all possess a mindset that prioritizes serving others.

This leads to plenty of scenes involving oral favors and heavy petting with the customers.

The plot connections between H-scenes in PUBPET are actually a bit disjointed.

However, the scenes themselves are quite spectacular (aka hardcore).

The storylines for the three heroines do not overlap, so you can tackle them one by one~

Anto

In Anto’s storyline, the player goes to a dungeon with her first.

Who would have thought that Anto, much like Frieren, would be lured in by a treasure chest?

Turns out it’s a tentacle mimic.

Afterward, Anto comes to work at the tavern.

Being the dedicated worker she is, she prepares a bunny girl outfit on her own.

She even goes into heat and dances on stage just to catch the owner’s attention.

This girl’s logic is truly beyond comprehension.

After throwing a bit of a pity party, Anto changes into another lingerie set.

She threatens that if you don’t think it looks good, she’ll go show everyone else!!!

Since Anto put it that way, it would be mean not to look at her.

Uh… then it goes straight to the hardcore stuff. Usually, things start with fingers.

But not here—she wants the entire hand inside right off the bat.

Talk about accelerating the pace too quickly.

As Anto becomes more uninhibited and with the support of the crowd, the bond between the two deepens.

In the end, you propose to Anto, and everything works out perfectly.

Alice

Alice constantly doubts whether she’s being helpful.

In reality, she works very hard to attract customers and provide service.

Winning at Blackjack allows you to push the boundaries of Alice’s service.

At first, she just lets customers touch her butt.

Later, to improve Alice’s hospitality skills, she undergoes “training.”

Going from wearing pants to wearing no pants.

Going from nothing inside to inserting fingers for a bit.

Alice’s service attitude is top-notch, so you never have to worry about a poor customer experience.

Hedy

Hedy is set up as a tsundere married woman.

But married women just hit different.

Unlike Alice, she doesn’t doubt her usefulness.

Instead, she only agrees to provide services after you beat her at the gambling table.

Though she acts like a tsundere who only works because she lost, Hedy’s service skills are absolutely premier.

A good sport who honors her bets, Hedy is willing to provide all kinds of services.

All I can say is, married women really are built different.

Game Walkthrough

The secret to beating PUBPET is simple: Be a focused person!

Treat yourself like an assembly line worker and focus on one thing at a time!

When it’s time to make money running the tavern, just make money.

Keep the tavern open for several consecutive days and skip all other events.

When it’s time to buy items, just buy items repeatedly.

Meet with the Black Market Dealer like crazy and don’t let female distractions sway you.

Once you have the money and the items are ready, it’s time to play Blackjack. Go burn through your hoard of items.

Stop opening the tavern entirely and just spam Blackjack matches.

In conclusion, if you want to get to the spicy parts quickly, the best way is actually not to rush it.

Spend the first half hour focusing entirely on making money and running the tavern.

Once you have cash, go all-in on cocktail recipes.

Use whatever change is left to buy items.

Once the recipes are bought out, it’s about time to set the tavern to “Close.”

Buy items for 3 to 5 consecutive days.

If you aren’t trying to see the heroine completely naked in a single hand, you can quickly win one or two matches.

It gets progressively harder to win later on.

If you want to see the heroine strip off more layers of clothing, don’t make the stakes too high; purposely win at a slower pace.

(This consumes a lot of items, though XD)

Clearing the game isn’t hard; it just takes persistence, grit, and a little bit of math.

Remember to use the Royal Crest when you have a guaranteed win to make the heroine lose her funds faster.

“Uh, I’m at 18 right now, and the next two cards are a 6 and a 1.”

“Perfect! I’ll use an item to get -3. That way, drawing the 6 lands me exactly on 21. Awesome.”

“Uh, right now one of the heroine’s face-up cards is a 10, and she has two cards in total.”

“So doubling her points will definitely make her bust. Awesome.”

“Wait, I’m out of X-ray items. Hey, how am I supposed to play now?!”

Game Review

Although PUBPET requires a bit of grinding—needing repetitive tavern management early on and repetitive card games later—the H-scenes show a lot of effort and come in a wide variety.

Therefore, it’s still highly recommended in terms of utility.

H-scenes that have already been unlocked can be re-watched via the CG gallery in the main menu.

The continuity between H-scenes in the game is a bit weak.

Because of this, the sense of story immersion and romance is somewhat minimal.

Most scenes are quite hardcore, featuring multi-character scenes and non-human encounters (tentacle mimics?!).

If you are looking for a hardcore experience, PUBPET fits the bill perfectly.

For players who enjoy Blackjack and card games, PUBPET is an absolute must-play.

But if you are a die-hard pure-love fan who needs everything to progress slowly…

Well… you can still play PUBPET!
