Corruption tracks a transformation. A character who starts out upright, proud or actively resistant is worn down by repeated contact and environmental pressure until she walks willingly toward the position she once looked down on. Unlike a single dramatic turn, this is almost always built as observable stages so the player can see exactly how much of the original is left.
The pull is the contrast itself — the more principled the starting point, the more the ending lands — while some players prefer titles that leave a route back open. Presentation matters here: portrait variants, changes in speech and wardrobe usually progress alongside the stats, which is the quickest read on how much care went in. Our articles break down each title’s stage design and triggers, whether reversal or multiple endings exist, plus playthrough notes, CG completion and reviews.
