Operation Darkside DX Launches on Steam July 10 — Corruption Training RPG by ダークネスLAB

Operation Darkside DX ships with full Japanese voice acting across its entire female cast, five language options including English, and a complete bundle that folds in the previously separate DLC content. The Steam version rolls in the previously separate DLC, Operation Darkside DX: Complete Combatant Corruption Chapter, so everything is unified into a single complete package. The Setup — When the Heroes Become the Hunted

The premise flips the usual hero story on its head. The evil organization known as the Forren Foundation has all but conquered the world, only to be pushed back by the sudden appearance of the transforming heroines known as the Holy Core Battlemaidens — fighters powerful enough to nearly bring the villains down for good.

You are not playing as one of those heroines. You are cast as the Foundation doctor tasked with turning the tables: capture the Battlemaidens, study the source of their power, and break them down mentally, physically, and spiritually until they belong to you. Justice does not get to just win here — it gets processed.

Akiho Sasaya (笹谷明穗)

The naturally upbeat rookie of the group, driven by an unshakeable sense of justice — which makes her fall from grace hit that much harder.

Rikka Minase (水無瀨六花)

A cool, aloof fighter who specializes in close-quarters combat, with an icy demeanor built to be cracked.

Elena Seidou (清藤艾蕾娜)

The corps vice-commander, born into privilege and backed by overwhelming raw strength.

Kei Nekomiya (貓宮京)

Intelligent and mysterious, with a true nature that is never quite easy to pin down — and the character who received the biggest visual overhaul in this DX edition.

Nayuta Yagumo (八雲那由多)

Composed and dignified, she leads the unit as head of command.

Hisui Saionji (西園寺翡翠)

A former corps secretary who infiltrates the Foundation herself in an attempt to reclaim her vice-commander.

Anastasia Petro Diamond (黛雅)

Capture, Study, and Rebuild Your Army

Operation Darkside DX runs on classic, chapter-based turn-based combat: defeat a Battlemaiden in battle, and instead of a game-over screen for her, that is where things really start. Captured heroines are handed over for “research” — and once that process is complete, they can be enlisted directly into your own fighting force, each one bringing a skill set completely different from what she had while still a heroine.

From there it becomes a squad-building loop with teeth: equip and gear up your converted Battlemaidens, mix their new abilities into your roster, and keep pushing the Foundation forward one broken heroine at a time.
