Claws of Soria: Escape the Succubus Night launched on Steam Sept 2. ByakkoMeiMei's survivors-like adds a hex Sigil Board and 10-15 hours of play.

Survivors-likes have been eating the adult scene alive for a couple of years now, and most of them settle for reskinning the same auto-attack loop. Claws of Soria: Escape the Succubus Night takes a different swing: developer ByakkoMeiMei bolts a hex-grid Sigil Board onto the usual bullet-heaven chassis, so where you park each maiden on the board matters as much as which weapons you roll

The game launched on Steam on September 2, published by Hide Games. Runs land in the 10 to 20 minute window that the genre lives on, and there is roughly 10 to 15 hours of content stacked on top of that, which is a real campaign rather than a demo wearing a price tag

Survivors Runs Built Around a Hex Board

The pitch is Survivor gameplay crossed with multi-character synergy and the Sigil Board system. Every maiden you recruit brings her own exclusive skill, so squad composition is a real decision and not a cosmetic one. Build a lineup, take it into a stage, and see what the combination actually does under pressure

The Sigil Board is where the game separates itself. Sigils drop onto a honeycomb grid alongside your character tiles, and adjacency is the whole point: place a link sigil next to enough high-star neighbours and it fires its bonus, such as a team-wide crit damage boost. Two runs with identical drops can end up as completely different builds depending on where you drop them, which is the kind of decision most survivors-likes never ask you to make

Pressure scales through a Danger Level meter that ticks up as time passes and as special events fire. Every increase drags another wave of the succubus army onto the field, so a stage that felt comfortable at Danger 3 will not feel comfortable at Danger 8

Boss encounters break the rhythm at intervals. The named lineup includes the Slime King, the Succubus Apostle, the Black-Horned Harpy Lord and the Great-Tusked Goblin, each with its own pacing and pressure pattern rather than a shared damage-sponge template

Stage variety goes well past the classic open-field survivors map. Forest Labyrinths, Dark Caves, Time-Attack stages, Purifying Forest Leylines, Dungeon Escapes and an assault on the Succubus Tower all show up as distinct challenge types

There is also a tower defense sub-stage called Base Defense. Monsters push toward your base and you answer by placing defense towers and obstacles to break the incoming horde, which gives the run a placement puzzle on top of the usual movement and dodging

The Succubus Queen and the Star-Vein Bloodline

Soria, the Succubus Queen, has descended on the Aether Continent and rules it through lust and illusion. Her method is the Succubus Seed: implant one in a woman and she is brainwashed into a Succubus Warrior, which is how the whole continent tipped into debauchery so fast

You are the heir to the Star-Vein Bloodline, and that inheritance is the one thing on the continent that resists succubus charm. The job is to reach the controlled girls, break what the seed has done to them, and get enough of them standing beside you to bring the Queen down

Nine Faces of the Roster

Nine characters carry the marketing art: Mia, Byakko, Elena, Flora, Lilith and Vivian on the squad side, with Queen Soria, the Succubus Apostle and the Dryad on the other. Their portraits are below

Mia, pink twin-tailed girl in a white dress and pink hooded robe
Mia, with the heart motifs on her sleeves lit up

Mia

Pink twin tails tied off with gold beads, a pink hooded robe worn over a white dress, and glowing heart motifs running along the wide sleeves. The pink heart gem at her collar sets the sweetest palette of the seven

Byakko, white-haired cat-eared archer in green and gold with a bow and a kitten on her shoulder
Byakko, kitten included, exactly as she appears in the lobby

Byakko

White hair, cat ears, green eyes, and a striped tail trailing behind her, dressed in light green and gold with a golden bow in hand. The ginger kitten riding her shoulder shows up in the lobby screens too

Elena, blonde knight in blue and gold plate armour with a shield and sword
Elena, the most straightforwardly knightly build on the squad

Elena

A long blonde ponytail and blue eyes above blue and gold plate that runs from pauldron to greave, sword in her right hand and a gold-trimmed blue kite shield on her left. Sapphires set into the breastplate and belt finish off the frontline knight look

Flora, white and purple haired woman in a white off-shoulder lace dress
Flora, the same figure from the starlit event CG

Flora

Waist-length curls fading from white into purple, amber eyes, and a white lace dress with sheer sleeves and bloomers, amethyst at her throat and in her hair. She is the one reaching out to you under the stars in the event art

Lilith, red-haired elf in a red and black dress and black gloves holding two swords
Lilith, the one dual-wielding silhouette among the seven

Lilith

Long red hair, pointed ears, and a circlet above a high-slit red and black dress, with opera-length black gloves and star-buckled leather belts. A silver blade in each hand makes her the only dual wielder in the lineup

Vivian, green-haired elf in round glasses and a green robe holding a glowing orb
Vivian, green star of light in the orb and all

Vivian

Short green curls, pointed ears, round glasses and violet eyes, wrapped in a hooded dark green robe over a wide leather belt. The orb balanced on her left palm holds a green star of light, about as legible a mage build as it gets

Queen Soria, horned succubus in a black gown with purple gems and fur-trimmed sleeves
Queen Soria, the one running the whole continent

Queen Soria

A pair of dark purple horns rise out of black hair that fades to violet, with gold eyes and an amethyst set at her brow. The high-slit black gown carries chains of purple gems at the waist, and sheer fur-trimmed sleeves hang off her shoulders. She rules Aether through sex and illusion, and her Succubus Seeds are what turn the women of the continent into her warriors

Succubus Apostle, tanned short-haired succubus with curved horns and outspread bat wings
The Succubus Apostle, named on the official boss list

Succubus Apostle (Succubus Side)

Tanned skin, short purple hair and violet eyes, a pair of dark curved horns, and purple-black bat wings spread behind her, with a heart-tipped tail. A red heart sits on her choker above a cropped purple-black outfit. The Succubus Apostle is one of the giant bosses Steam names outright

Dryad, green-haired pointed-eared forest spirit with branching antlers, dressed in leaves on a fallen log
The Dryad, the forest figure from the event CG

Dryad (Succubus Side)

Long yellow-green curls, pointed ears and amber eyes, with leafy branching antlers growing from her head. She wears woven leaves and vine wraps, seated on a fallen log. She is the forest figure leaning in on Vivian in the event art

The Adult Content, Laid Out Plainly

Memories of seduction and corruption. The Queen works through illusion and aphrodisiac fragrance, drowning the maidens in desire until they cannot find the bottom. What happens in that haze with succubi, monsters and tentacles gets burned into them as memories where shame and pleasure are wound together, and those memories do not wash off

Succubus Seeds and fleshly subjugation. Once a seed is planted, the girl sinks into lewd memories and her body pulls itself apart between wanting and hurting. Your skillful technique and your massive weapon are the tools for going deep into her heart and body, suppressing the seed’s grip and letting her own will back out

Defeat means humiliation. Fall to the succubus army and the Queen collects your body and your essence personally. The price for your team surviving and the maidens staying safe is satisfying an appetite that has no floor to it

Sublimation of bonds and pleasure. Fight alongside a maiden long enough and intimacy climbs. Her shameful memories get rewritten through your power into something closer to affection, and that affection sublimates into a passionate sexual scene of its own
