Story Setup
The story follows two characters moving in opposite emotional directions. Rulum, a maid-type robot, develops self-awareness after awakening a desire to live happily with the village chief. At the same time, Koharu Kozuki, a shrine maiden fighting to keep demonic threats away from the world, is so worn down by battle that she wants to abandon human emotion altogether and become more machine-like.
