《Fuyukuru. – Winter winds, adieu? -》on Steam Store 【Shiravune】

Silky’s Plus visual novel Fuyukuru. – Winter winds, adieu? – is getting a English release, and its Steam store page is now live. Shiravune announced the game is coming to Steam, inviting players to get in early on a closed-off academy where wishes and death collide.

This is a denpa-style text adventure set inside a sealed facility. The story follows a group of immortal girls who are forced to face fear and the truth amid a series of brutal murders.
And the key object at the heart of it all is the “needle”—all kinds of needles, like signposts, guiding the girls step by step toward the place called death.

Story Overview

A fully residential boarding school, cut off from the outside world.
—Here, a group of immortal girls live.

Over a span as long as it takes to grow into an adult, they gradually regress back into infants; then they grow up again, only to return to childhood once more—an endless cycle, repeating without end.

There is only one condition to “graduate” from this school—an external observer must judge you to be a genius.
The moment a girl is recognized as a genius, she’s allowed to leave—and vanishes from the school.

But the immortal girls’ once-peaceful campus life is violently torn apart by a murder, and from that point on everything falls into chaos, completely derailing.

Why can the girls not die?
Why do they keep repeating growth and regression?
Since they were locked away in this school, how much time has really passed?
Why can they revive even after their heads are cut off?
What kind of ending awaits the girls who fail to become geniuses?
What has the outside world become now?
Why are there only girls here?
Where did all the men go?
What is death?
What is life?
And what is existence, anyway?

Character Introductions

Yuhi Soragaoka（CV: Kiiro Tsukino）

Nothing about her looks or personality stands out, yet she’s oddly popular with her peers. Usually indecisive, but when it counts, she can act with surprising resolve.
To uncover the truth behind her best friend Shifon Shimoyuki’s murder, she steps into an investigation for the first time in her life—as a “great detective.”

Shifon Shimoyuki（CV: Yuki Nekomura）

Yuhi’s closest friend—spoiled and a master of acting cute, always managing to steer things the way she wants.
She’s intensely attached to Yuhi and always wants to be glued to her. She was decapitated and murdered; her head is still missing.

Torineko Mina（CV: Aoi Uehara）

Yuhi’s assistant. An athletic standout—loyal, decisive, and big on camaraderie. Easy to like, but sometimes she’s a little too blunt and stirs things up.
She seems totally unfazed by adult topics on the surface, yet deep down she’s hiding an inclination even she hasn’t noticed.

Yukari Ugajima（CV: Rino Kawashima）

A student—and the academy’s “killer.” She can stab without hesitation, yet she can also bring the dead back to life, so she isn’t a killer in the usual sense.
This time, though, the incident may be a “real” murder case, and she’ll offer Yuhi advice from her own standpoint.

Berlin Ugajima（CV: Rino Kawashima）

Yukari’s twin sister and leader of the medical rescue team. She’s responsible for quickly locating bodies and assisting with revivals, so she’s well-versed in all things “corpse-related.”
She has Shifon Shimoyuki’s headless body frozen in the infirmary. She speaks slowly and casually, but what she says is often downright shocking.

Chiemi Hoshito（CV: Ringo Aoba）

Student council president. Extremely sensitive about her childlike body—bring it up and she’ll blow up. She may look small, but she runs things with strict, hardline discipline.
Even without fully trusting Yuhi, she still approves her to investigate in the role of a detective.

Toko Kikuma（CV: Shizu Azuma）

Very close with Chiemi, supporting her in a near–vice president role. Smart and friendly, but she has a dangerous habit—she unconsciously manipulates people through conversation.
Let your guard down, and she might lead you somewhere you’d never expect. She holds a huge amount of intel within the academy.

Orihi Otori（CV: Sakura Hanazawa）

A student who shrinks back like a small animal, always seeming scared of something—yet the moment the topic turns to “killing,” she suddenly becomes bold, even violent.
One of the few who will directly confront Yukari, the “killer,” and speak her mind.

Yuika Tsukikadojima（CV: Nanami Mizuno）

President of the Handicrafts Club. Many students who join the club suddenly “graduate” and vanish without a trace—now she’s the only one left.
She has a one-of-a-kind vibe and takes care of others like an older sister around campus. She was also decapitated and murdered the day before Shifon Shimoyuki died.
