Nora can carry three weapon types at once, covering light, heavy and throwing attacks. Different enemies and terrain call for different tools, so the fight comes down to reading the situation and switching at the right moment. Weapons can also come with their own built-in skills. The Spiral Sword shown on the inventory screen, for instance, carries an active skill called Core Release that spends magic for a single overloaded strike. With enough gear and skill combinations you can shape a fighting style of your own and take on enemies with all kinds of weak points
